Design the architecture and schema for content that disappears after 24 hours without a slow delete-scan.

Design a 'stories' content service (modeled on Instagram Stories): content must become visible to followers almost instantly, stays available for exactly 24 hours, and then disappears - without a slow scan-and-delete job trawling the whole table. Design both the schema (including how expiry is represented) and the supporting architecture. Distinct from the Comment & Reaction Service, which is about persistent content.
