Design a Pastebin-style service. A user submits a block of text (a "paste") and receives a unique link. Anyone who opens that link reads the paste. Pastes are write-once and read-many: created once, then read repeatedly by anyone the link is shared with, and never edited after creation.
Unlike a URL shortener, the stored payload is not a short string but a text blob that can be sizable (up to a few hundred KB), so the read path moves real bytes, and popular pastes can become read hotspots. The system is read-dominated, and the read path must stay fast even when a single paste goes viral and is fetched far more often than any other.
Design the serving architecture, focusing on how reads are accelerated and how a hot paste doesn't overwhelm the datastore. Then document your storage model, the API, and any notes on eviction or hot-key handling.
